In
December 1995 Volume I of "An Internet Tribute To Gordon Lightfoot" was
released
showcasing the performances of Lightfoot originals by participants and
readers
of the alt.music.lightfoot newsgroup.
In June 1997 "An Internet Tribute To Gordon Lightfoot Volume II" was released as the followup and continued in the same tradition of the first CD, this time with more and different songs and performers. Included
here are track details and unsolicited comments from many purchasers of
each volume of the CD, to give you an unbiased idea of how the albums
have
been received. Thanks, as always, to the many individuals who
submitted
recordings for inclusion on these projects, without whom these unique
collections
of Lightfoot covers could never have come to pass. Another tribute album,
Beautiful: A Tribute To Gordon Lightfoot came out in wide
release in October of 2003.
